Can’t stay for dinner?
Totally understand — not everyone can stick around for the whole day.
That's more than okay; we'd just love to see your face at the ceremony and cocktails!
Let us know on your RSVP so we can make a plan.
Where to stay
Elements of Byron Bay
For guests looking to lounge by the pool and soak up the warm spring weather, we recommend Elements of Byron Bay. Access to the main town is easy via the 'Solar Train' or an eBike, with North Byron Hotel and an IGA a short stroll down the road.
All guests have access to a 15% discount on villa bookings, or if you join our group booking, you can get 25% off.
Let us know on the RSVP form if you'd like to book at Elements.
Elements group booking discount
Elements of Byron Bay are offering 25% off every villa booked under one group booking.
We've got 10 booked so far — and there's room for more!
Terms
Cancellation of your villa is allowed up to 8 days before the booking. Payment on arrival.
How to book
Add your dates and the number of villas you'd like on the RSVP form (it's that easy).
I'll contact Elements to add your request to the group booking.
I'll send you a confirmation email with the booking details (or Elements might — TBC).
Already booked?
I'm going to ask Elements whether we can apply the same discount to your existing booking.
I will be in contact once I find out more.
If you haven’t provided Element’s details on your RSVP, please update your RSVP form with your booking details.

FAQs
Invitation
-
Wednesday 29 July 2026.
Nothing like a tight deadline to get things moving…the venue, the bus and our sanity are all counting on it.
We know the RSVP deadline is a little tight — if the timing's tricky, drop us a line and we'll work something out. -
Your RSVP form will include details of people invited in your household.
Still unsure? Message us.
-
Unfortunately a strict venue cap meant the 48 kids between all our guests can’t join the fun on the day.
Oliver has a few special friends invited, and they will be indicated on your RSVP form.
Contact us if you are really stuck with finding a solution for your kids. -
We know how hard it is to figure out what to do with the littlies who don't go to babysitters.
So let's chat and come up with a plan! -
We will have someone on-site wrangling Oliver and and his friends.
There is also a small area for kids who find it difficult to seperate from their Mum and Dad.
If looking for babysitter options, check out the recommended childcare vendors here.
If you are interested in connecting with other guests to arrange group babysitting, let us know in your RSVP, and we will connect you.
Ceremony and Reception
-
Dress to shine your brightest (and comfiest!). Cocktail dress code (tie optional).
It's spring, it's a party, and the season practically begs you to bloom a little.
So put on whatever makes you feel like sunshine and shine on!
-
Byron in spring: warm days (low-to-mid 20s°C), the occasional cheeky shower, and a general refusal to commit to a forecast more than a week out.
Bring a light layer for the evening and check the sky closer to the date.
If you are staying in Byrons, make sure to pack your cossie / bathers / swimmers for beach or pool time action.
-
Yes! Fig Tree has you covered.
Tell us on the RSVP and we'll pass it straight along so nobody's left eating a side of lettuce.
-
Phones are welcome to make an appearance. We just ask that they stay tucked away for the ceremony itself, so everyone (us included) can be fully in the moment.
Once cocktails start, snap away, go wild.
-
Celebrations wrap up at 9pm AEDT (8pm AEST / Brisbane time), with a bus on standby to whisk revellers off to their accommodation — or wherever the night takes you.
As for us, we'll be sneaking off to start married life properly... aka collapsing into bed and sleeping like the happiest (and exhausted) newlyweds we will be.
Travelling to Byron
-
Pick your adventure:
Ballina Byron Gateway (~30 mins away, direct from Melbourne and Sydney),
Gold Coast Airport (~1 hour away, domestic and international direct flights), or
Brisbane Airport (~2 hours away, for the scenic-route enjoyers).
-
Rental car, airport shuttle (Byron Easy Bus, Greyhound and Flixbus all run from the airports), or a taxi/Uber.
Byron Bay Guest Guide | Plan -
Depends on your vibe! Venue transport has you covered there and back on the day, so you're free to spend the rest of your time soaking up rays by the pool, drink in hand.
Craving a bit more adventure? A car buys you the freedom to go explore further afield, but it's not required kit for wedding weekend, just a nice-to-have for the wanderers among us.
-
An adults-only swim-up pool bar (yes, really), kids' play areas, Solar Train/eBike access into town, an IGA down the road, and a short stroll to North Byron Hotel for a meal and a well-earned drink.
Elements of Byron -
Tell us on the RSVP form and we'll happily match you for transport or accommodation buddies.
Everything else
-
Absolutely. There's a casual drop-in brunch planned for the Monday after for anyone still in Byron (details soon), plus we're planning to linger in town for a few extra days to properly catch up with everyone who's travelled so far to be with us.
Message us and we'll lock in a time.
-
No. Your presence really is the present.
-
Post away! Just hold off on kids, other guests (without a thumbs-up), or us — give us first dibs on sharing our own favourites before you scoop us. Though fair warning, it might be a while... we're really not big social posters.
-
WhatsApp us babes!
On the day
Getting to and from the venue
We've arranged a bus to collect all guests from their accommodation on the day. Because parking is limited, guests can only arrive at the venue via pre-arranged transport.
Driving to Byron Bay just for the day? We'll run a shuttle bus to and from a designated parking location.
At the end of the night, the bus will drop everyone back to their accommodation, with transport also available for anyone needing to leave early.
Parking at the venue
Fig Tree requires all guests to arrive ONLY via pre-arranged transport. Any deviation from this means additional charges/fines for us on the day — so please, stick to the plan!
Taxis and Ubers
In special circumstances, we can arrange for guests to arrive by taxi or Uber — this needs venue pre-approval two weeks prior to the ceremony.
Let us know on the RSVP form if you need this option.
